Special attention is paid to meeting the needs of students and providing a comfortable, serious, international oriented and stimulating learning environment. Consistently DEM is actively implementing the main university’s objectives, which are focused on:

1)         internationalization: DEM offers 4 master degree programmes entirely taught in English, welcomes visiting professors from abroad, enrols many foreign students, offers a wide range of exchange opportunities to its students

2)         fostering a strong relation with the corporate world: DEM organizes seminars where companies delegate speakers regularly, Business Labs and consultancy projects/marketing games. Career days and career guidance are offered by UniTrento Career Service on a regular basis; many professors also work as consultants.

3)         quality improvement and assurance by: 1) guaranteeing that the quality of the teaching programmes is well documented, verifiable and assessable; 2) facilitating access to information, making it clearer and more understandable for students, families and stakeholders in the employment world; 3) promoting a process of continuous improvement in study programmes.

The main objective of DEM is promoting, supporting and organizing research and teaching activities focused on economic and business studies. DEM fosters the recruitment and growth of students willing to do research activities and/or to enter the job market at a managerial position.
